POLE DANCE FITNESS

You’ve seen it in movies, talent competitions, youtube and even your social media feed. Learn the dance and fitness artform that has risen in popularity worldwide since the early 2000s. Pole dance, pole sport, pole art or pole fitness, whichever your choice, Viva Vertical is the trusted name to learn how to pole in a safe and supportive environment.

Our signature Pole Fit syllabus will guide you from beginner to advanced, focusing on the proper technique and instruction to help you nail those tricks and spins! Gain strength and flexibility as you tackle fundamental combos in our targeted training.

Beginner classes run for 60 minutes and cost 2 credits. Intermediate to advanced classes run for 90 minutes and cost 3 credits.

*Beginner levels are suitable for those without any experience up to early polers, and focus mainly on the static pole. Wear comfortable clothing that exposes the thighs and arms for grip. No shoes required.

Ever wanted to spin smoothly, as you twirl around a pole? At Spinning Pole class you will learn the fundamentals of how to carry out moves and combos on an unlocked spin pole. Separate from our PoleFit syllabus, which focuses on the use of a static pole, Spinning Pole unlocks (quite literally) a new genre of pole dance fitness. Think fabric flying in the wind and flowy movement as you gracefully manoeuvre up and down the pole.

Beginner classes run for 60 minutes and cost 2 credits. Intermediate to advanced classes run for 90 minutes and cost 3 credits.

AERIAL ARTS & CIRQUE

The circus is in town; paving the way for your foray into modern circus arts, aerial art/fitness will give you the opportunity to dance in the air doing poses and spins on different apparatuses. Our instructors are well trained aerialists and acrobatic coaches who will guide you through the process of overcoming your fears and drilling your body to achieve gravity-defying feats.

Also known as Aerial Tissue or Aerial Fabric, the graceful and powerful art of Silks involves climbing, twisting, spinning and dropping using two long stretches of fabric suspended from the ceiling.

Once you have the strength and flexibility to hold yourself on the silks, our instructors guide you on the intricate wrappings and sequences that are exclusive to this Aerial apparatus.

Beginner classes run for 60 minutes and cost 2 credits. Intermediate to advanced classes run for 90 minutes and cost 3 credits.

*Beginner levels are suitable for those without any experience and those seeking to build a solid foundation. Wear comfortable, tight-fitting clothing that covers your knees, elbows and torso. No shoes required.

Aerial Silks

Also known as Aerial Lyra, the Hoop is a circular apparatus suspended from a single point in the ceiling. Sizes of the apparatus vary according to your height. If you are new to aerial fitness, this is a great way to start!

Poses and movements focus on improving balance, coordination and muscle tone. More seasoned aerial hoopers learn to flip, turn and roll into choreographed transitions.

Beginner classes run for 60 minutes and cost 2 credits. Intermediate to advanced classes run for 90 minutes and cost 3 credits.

At Viva Vertical, we have a vast range of aerial equipment and repertoires, ranging from the Aerial Pole all the way to your classic circus disciplines, such as Trapeze, Rope (Corde Lisse) and Aerial Cube. We sometimes host workshops or special programs for aerialists to play or train on different apparatuses. Private classes are also available; please contact us for more details.
